A day measured in changing light.
Dadaocheng大稻埕
Begin among tea shops, fabric stores, and breakfast counters near Dihua Street. The older city is already awake, and the best introduction comes at street level with nowhere urgent to be.
Zhongshan中山
Move through bookshops, small galleries, and cafés tucked behind the main roads. Taipei rewards looking through arcades and up narrow staircases, where another room is often waiting.
Da'an大安
Let the neighbourhood soften into residential lanes, independent shops, and a long park pause. The city feels most legible when the route leaves room for rain and an unplanned cup of tea.
Xiangshan象山
Finish above the city as towers, apartment lights, and the basin settle into one view. Taipei does not end here; the climb simply reveals how closely streets and mountains have been travelling together.
